Serving high quality food begins with carefully choosing the finest, freshest ingredients delivered daily by top fish distributors. Owner and chef, Dong Chang, has a passion for exciting tastes, and spends many hours at the sushi bar creating new dishes and flavors (always MSG free) to add to the menu, alongside customer favorites.  Rare and exotic fish species are obtained whenever seasonally available. Chef Dong doesn’t like eating boring foods and believes that you should have options as well!

Customer satisfaction is the result of more than just great food –service and environment are important factors also.  Open communication between staff and co-owners, Dong and Lee Chang, is encouraged and engaged regularly, whether informally, as concerns arise, or during weekly staff meetings.  This emphasis on communication aids our ability to provide you with excellent service and promotes a strong team ethic, allowing every member to take pride in their work.

Your satisfaction won’t stop with the outstanding service. Sushi Samurai’s current restaurant space was opened in 2011 and is infused with both Asian and American styles. We offer you an experience filled with tradition and authenticity in an approachable and modern environment that is both comfortable and refreshing.  When you visit Sushi Samurai check out the sushi bar’s unique awning design – built as a replica of Chef Dong’s childhood home in Korea, it stands in tribute to where his love for cooking first began.
